The existing "black," EPDM roof system was approximately 16 years old and out of warranty. Instead of replacing the roof system and all of the components, Statesville Roofing & Building Restoration installed a "white," elastomeric roofing system to restore the roof and metal components. This new elastomeric coating system reduced the average temperature of the roof by 40 to 60 degrees and is also backed by a manufacturer warranty for 10 years.
